A crown or commonly referred to as a cap is a custom made covering that is placed over a damaged or decayed tooth to restore it’s normal shape, size and improve the functionality and/or esthetics. 

A veneer is a customized layer of material used to improve the esthetics of chipped, discolored or misaligned teeth.Veneers can also be used to close gaps between teeth and are bonded to the tooth with a resin cement. The material used to fabricate a veneer is either composite or porcelain. 

A bridge is fixed porcelain restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by making a customized artificial tooth and attaching it to adjacent teeth,  using them as anchors.
